A terrified mother was robbed of her handbag by two young women who held her up with 5050 RGB Controller LD-CON-12-M an imitation gun.
Sharon Williams was attacked as she walked home alone around midnight after visiting a friend.
When she left the house in Porth, Lowri Miller and Jessica Price, who had been drinking, were across the street with a third woman, whom Mrs Williams knew.
Price, 18, and Miller, 19, followed her, Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court heard. Miller blocked her path and Price grabbed her from behind in a bear hug.
Miller demand Mrs Williams' bag but she held on until Miller took a gun from her jacket pocket which looked liked a real pistol.
When Miller lifted it in the air Mrs Williams heard a plastic rattling sound and realised LV Bracelet it could be an imitation.
Both women ran off. The gun, a purse and bank cards were later recovered.
Price told police she had tried to talk Miller out of the robbery and had no knowledge she had the gun.
Stephen Donoghue, for Miller, who had 22 previous convictions and committed the robbery while on a suspended sentence, said she had a troubled time with constant breaches of Asbos and involvement with drugs.
'She has now made efforts to reform herself while in custody,' he said.
Alexander Greenwood, for Price, who had 19 previous convictions including one of robbery, said her role had been more limited.
Three weeks before the robbery she gave birth to her daughter, and five days before she had turned 18.
She had been suffering post-natal depression, which provided some explanation why she behaved in such a disgraceful way.
Miller, of Woodland Road, Beddau, received a three-and-a-half year sentence after admitting robbery and possessing an imitation firearm.
Price, of no fixed abode, had pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced to two and a half years.
