My home place in The Northeast and the North Yorkshire Province's of the UK, Although I live in a town called Billingham, (Stockton-On-Tees) a town full of heavy industry, of which ICI used to be a big player, Smog Monsters are our nick names to the town folk, and city folk close to us, thus the nick name is taking in good fun.

Then again we have some of the best country side in the UK; Durham is the place of the Prince and Bishops, and the North Yorkshire area is some what nice and green.

I would like to talk about an area close to Stockton-On-Tees, It's a wonderful place called Northallerton, and Northallerton is part of North Yorkshire and with Ripon and Thirsk close to its borders, Northallerton is a market town and belongs to the Hambleton district in our lovely north Yorkshire, and its growth of importance came in the 11th century the land was gifted to the then Bishop of Durham from King William, Northallerton then became a centre for religious affairs. Northallerton today has a mixture of light industry, and agricultural service's from the near by farms dealing in live stock and an auction market.
